I just got the HLP21E machine - the first thing I said when I opened the box is "Look how cute it is - a mini-washing machine!"
I had read somewhere that the bottom plate was difficult to put on, I did not have any problems with it, I had it on within 10 minutes - maybe they improved it since the earlier reviews I read.
I then hooked it up - I have washer and dryer hookups but in a very small space (hard to explain) so this fit perfect - the only thing is, there is only one hose for either hot or cold unlike a full size washer where you have two hoses, I suppose this is since the washer was really made for those without washer hookups and to be able to hook it to the sink. Since I only wash in cold anyway, I hooked it to the cold water outlet.
I then ran a normal wash, I would imagine the quick wash would work for most loads.
Overall, I am very happy and would recommend the machine. HomeElegance had the best price from anyone I found.

My portable washing machine arrived in pristine condition. It's perfect.I love it.
The hookup was a snap. The machine is beautiful and cleans better than the
Laundromat. It is so quiet I can't even hear it spin. The condition when it arrived was as if angels had carried it to my kitchen, no dents or dings or marks or any kind. Perfect. It arrived a week earlier than I expected.

I love how clean the clothes come out of it. My fiancee works in food service and the washer in the apartment complex was not doing a good job of getting the clothes clean and smelling fresh.
I love that a set of queen size sheets fit in the washer.... I only need to take the comforter to the laundry mat! What a savings.

Haier HLP21 Washing Machine |

We bought this because we have just had twins and were sick and tired of paying two bucks every time we wanted to wash our kids' clothes doing a fraction of a full load.
It attaches to our bathroom tap with a very high quality adapter supplied (no rubber, just a high quality metal and plastic fitting that attaches to the adapter which you screw into the mixer tap).
There is no water heater in this machine; you adjust the temperature with the hot and cold taps and if, like us, you rent an apartment where the owner pays for the water, and for heating it, you get free laundry!
The only minor criticism is that the final spin speed is not as high as a larger machine so your washing is not as dry when it comes out, but the difference is really small.
We have had ours for nearly three months now, use it about 5 times a week on average and have had no problems at all. It came double packed (a box within a box with padding between) and the bottom plate is really easy to attach.
